He's currently working his way through the final leg of an epic stadium tour with One Direction, but singer Zayn Malik took time out for a night of revelry on Thursday evening – and he was in good company.
The 21-year-old heartthrob was joined by R&B star Jason Derulo at popular West Hollywood nightspot 1 OAK on the last of a welcome three day break between shows.
Bradford born Zayn looked typically casual in a loose fitting maroon shirt that adequately displayed his impressive collection of tattoos courtesy of its rolled sleeves.

Here come the boys: One Direction heartthrob Zayn Malik (L) enjoyed a night out at popular West Hollywood club 1 OAK with R&B singer Jason Derulo (R) on Thursday evening
Skinny jeans and a pair of battered hob-nail boots rounded off the look, while a black Alice-band kept his tousled and increasingly lengthy dark locks in check.
Likewise Derulo, 24, dressed down in a vest top and matching black jeans ahead of his evening out at the Hollywood nightspot.
The tattooed Wiggle singer completed his low-key ensemble with a pair of trainer boots and a baseball cap, while a chunky gold chain afforded the overall look an urban twist.

With Derulo taking his foot off the pedal after a busy promotional campaign for latest album Talk Dirty – a reissue of his 2013 LP Tattoos – Zayn is preparing to put his own foot down as One Direction storm through the last nine shows of their Where We Are stadium tour.
The epic roadshow kicked off in Bogotá on April 25, working its way across South America, the UK, mainland Europe and Canada before winding across the United States.
The boys will round off their latest tour at Miami's Sun Life Stadium on October 5, shortly before the release of new One Direction album Four on November 17.
Their forthcoming LP will be preceded by lead single Steal My Girl on September 29.
One Direction were also celebrating the end of three sell-out shows at the infamous Rose Bowl stadium as part of their tour last weekend.
The 92,000-capacity venue - which has been headlined by the likes of Michael Jackson and Rihanna - is believed to have been one of the lads' biggest gigs to date.
